For groups that want to reserve together, we would recommend one of the Loresho Airbnb Houses and for smaller groups or couples we would recommend staying at one of the independent Airbnbs within Westland W Place (https://maps.app.goo.gl/WEkbYUthNwuydo476) or at Pride Inn Azure Hotel (https://maps.app.goo.gl/EJ7EWeverf9t6y1e9 )in Westlands. Both are in convenient areas within walking distance of lots of nice restaurants and shops in Nairobi.

Travel

Please fly into Nairobi through JOMO Kenyatta International Airport. Once in Nairobi, Uber is available and easily accessible to travel everywhere.

For those within the East African Region, no visa/travel permit is required. You will need:

1. a passport or national ID (with stamped interstate pass issued on exit) and

2. Yellow Fever Vaccination Card (especially for those travelling from Uganda)

For those travelling from the US, Europe and non- East Africa Committee Countries, you will need:

1. a passport valid until at least January 2026. A Kenya visa: it should be applied for in April 2025.

2. Up-to-date vaccines, and added vaccines such as yellow fever

3. Malaria meds

4. TSA pre or Global entry are extras but do make traveling a little easier.
